  • Change your password.
  • Activate email and SMS authentication.
  • Complete KYC verification.
  • Set a referral code (promo code), which can then be shared to invite people.

Overview of the trading platform

Pionex is essentially a crypto exchange where you can trade on the spot market, derivatives, and leveraged tokens. Let’s take a look at its functionality in general terms — it is practically no different from other similar crypto exchanges.

How to Deposit and Withdraw on Pionex

Deposit:

  • Transfer crypto from another wallet.
  • Buy with a credit/debit card (Simplex, Banxa).

You can top up your account in the Wallet -> Deposit Funds section.

Select the desired coin/token.

Select the network where it is located.

Copy the address.

Then go to your crypto wallet or another exchange where you store your coins and transfer them to the copied address. Make sure that the blockchain network matches on both sides.

Deposits are also possible using a card for users with verification level 2. Go to the Buy Crypto -> Credit Card section. Select the cryptocurrency you want to buy and the fiat currency you want to pay with. Select a payment provider (Pionex has partnerships with Simplex, Banxa, etc.), confirm the transaction, and pay for your purchase.

Withdrawal:

  • Wallet → Withdraw menu.
  • Dozens of supported networks (ETH, BSC, TRON, etc.).
  • 2FA required.

You can withdraw cryptocurrency from Pionex via the Wallet -> Withdraw section. To do this, two-factor authentication (2FA) must be enabled in the settings.

Select the coin/token for withdrawal, set the desired network, and enter the address where the funds should be transferred. Confirm the transaction.

Trading on Pionex

Two main options:

  1. Manual trading — limit and market orders.
  2. Bot trading — automation of strategies.

Trading tools are located in the corresponding section, and you can switch between “Bot” and “Manual” modes on the right. In the latter case, you can create orders yourself—limit, market—and also make instant swaps on the market.

As for bots, you should select a suitable strategy and click “Create Order.” Set the robot’s parameters — whether it should use artificial intelligence or whether you yourself set the exact indicators it should follow.

The specific list of parameters depends on the selected bot/strategy. Before launching, make sure you have funds in your balance (specifically, the tokens you intend to trade).

The platform also supports trading in derivatives in the corresponding section and tokens with leverage of up to 3x in the “Market” -> “Leverage” section.

Types of bots on Pionex

The platform supports many types of trading bots that allow you to fully automate trading.

Examples of basic automation strategies:

  • Grid trading. You can set a price corridor consisting of upper and lower price ranges. The price varies within this range, and if the price is low, the bot buys, and if it is high, it sells.
  • Reverse grid. The same mechanism, but focused on earning from a falling market. The settings are exactly the same.
  • Grid with leverage. Useful in a growing trend. The mechanism is the same as the previous ones, but leverage is additionally set, allowing you to earn significantly more if the market goes up.
  • Reverse grid with leverage.
  • DCA. Dollar cost averaging. A simple but effective strategy. Instead of investing the entire available amount at once, the trader divides the investment into several parts and invests gradually over a certain period. Pionex offers intervals of 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month. This is a good way to combat market volatility.
  • Rebalancing. Focuses not on a single position, but on the entire portfolio as a whole. The goal of such a bot is to balance different positions within the portfolio, buying and selling assets to maintain a certain level of distribution.
  • Margin grid. Used by traders who want to trade long or short with leverage. The difference between a margin grid bot and a leveraged grid bot is collateral. This bot keeps the collateral and does not invest it.
  • Spot and futures arbitrage. The price difference between exchanges (Binance, Huobi, etc.) is quite small, but thanks to high-frequency trading, it can lead to some profit.
  • TWAP (time-weighted average price). Similar to DCA. It can be described as a strategy of executing one large order in the form of several small orders over a certain period of time. Unlike DCA, you don’t need to select periods; the robot will calculate them itself.
  • Infinite grid. In this case, you don’t need to worry about the price going beyond the set price range. While a regular grid bot works with upper and lower limits, an “infinite grid” works with percentages.
  • Smart Trade. Allows you to plan both buying and selling at the same time and use the take profit/stop loss functions in parallel. A good option for risk control.

User Reviews

Although overall feedback about the service is positive, users note the lack of information about the project’s official registration and financial licenses. Other traders complain that trading with bots does not bring any profit.

According to customers, the service is suitable for beginners thanks to its maximum automation and “two-click” setup. However, given the potential risks, it is recommended to first gain at least a basic understanding of trading in order to understand how it works, otherwise you may lose your money.

  1. John Matthews, New York, 2025-07-12: “Great for beginners, I set up a DCA bot in minutes.”
  2. Claire Dubois, Montreal, 2025-07-08: “Fees are low, but I wish they had stronger regulation.”
  3. Michael Johnson, London, 2025-07-02: “Grid Bot really helps automate my trades.”
  4. Sophia Lee, Sydney, 2025-06-19: “Verification was slow, but once done, withdrawals were smooth.”
  5. David Brown, Toronto, 2025-05-27: “The mobile app is clean and easy to use daily.”
  6. Emily Carter, Los Angeles, 2025-05-18: “Withdrawal worked fine, but card fees were higher than expected.”
  7. Rahul Sharma, Singapore, 2025-05-03: “Arbitrage bot is powerful, but takes time to learn.”
  8. Lucas Martin, Paris, 2025-04-14: “Support replies, but not always quickly.”

Conclusion

Pionex is a good option for automated cryptocurrency trading, partly because it includes all the necessary features, eliminating the need to connect other exchanges via API. The service has very reasonable fees, which is again ideal for beginners. Importantly, access to all trading bots is provided free of charge. However, they will only work effectively if they are configured correctly. Each bot in the block comes with a detailed illustrated guide, and if anything is unclear, you can consult the live chat.
