Registration and Login

To create an account on MEXC, click the “Register” button in the upper right corner of the page.

At the top of the window that opens, you can choose how you want to register—by email or phone. The process is pretty much the same either way. Fill in the required information (email address or phone number, password, captcha), and agree to the privacy policy.

Use Google Mail, as it is the most secure. Confirm your email or phone number by entering the code sent to them. Then log in to your account with your username and password.

A window will appear prompting you to activate 2FA, confirm your identity, and make a deposit. Completing all three steps will earn you a bonus of 10 USDT for trading. You can close this window for now.

You can find the login to your personal account in the top menu by hovering your cursor over the user’s image.

Registration takes 2–3 minutes:

  1. Go to the MEXC official website - .
  2. Choose registration by email or phone.
  3. Confirm via code.
  4. Set up a password and enable two-factor authentication.

The login button is in the top menu.

Dashboard functions:

  • Change password, link phone number
  • KYC verification
  • Manage API keys
  • Set withdrawal addresses
  • Anti-phishing code
  • Emergency account freeze

Legal Status and Regulation

  • Registered in Seychelles.
  • Provides Proof of Reserves.
  • No official licenses in the US or EU.
  • Restricted in several jurisdictions.
  • US-based traders may face service limitations.

❌ Drawback: Lack of US/EU regulation reduces trust for institutional investors.

✅ Advantage: Flexible terms and optional KYC for most services.

Security and KYC

Two-factor authentication on MEXC means that to log into your account, you will need to confirm not one factor (password), but two – an additional code sent via SMS, email, or from the Google Authenticator app. The latter option is the most reliable.

Install Google Authenticator on your phone. In your MEXC account settings, click “Open” under “Google Verification.” You will see a QR code. You need to scan it using Google Auth. Next, enter your account password, followed by the six-digit key from the app. The keys change every few seconds, so unlike a static password, they cannot be stolen. This is what makes this method so secure.

On MEXC, it is recommended that users complete verification. You can make deposits and trade without it, and you can also withdraw assets in crypto, within limits. However, some other features, such as margin trading and P2P, are closed.

  • 2FA via Google Authenticator, SMS, or email.
  • KYC optional, but required for P2P, Launchpad, and margin.
  • Account freeze option in case of suspicious activity.

MEXC uses cold storage and multi-layered security protocols.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Deposits on MEXC, like withdrawals, are made through the “My Assets” section.

Select the “Deposit” tab to deposit funds.

Click the green “Get Address” button, and a wallet address will be generated for you. Transfer cryptocurrency to it from any external wallet or exchange convenient for you. Please note that for some assets, you need to select a network, as they operate on more than one blockchain.

Withdrawals are made from the tab of the same name.

Specify the address to which you want to withdraw cryptocurrency, as well as the withdrawal amount. Each cryptocurrency has its own withdrawal fee. Withdrawals are also subject to certain limits. For example, you cannot withdraw less than 0.001 BTC, and the commission for the transaction is 0.0005 BTC. These parameters are subject to change, so always check the official website for the latest information.

You can replenish your account using Loop Alliance (the third tab in the assets section).

MEXC was one of the first exchanges to participate in testing this feature. Loop Alliance solves the problems of blockchain network congestion, delays, and high service fees by applying settlement and liquidation methods adopted between traditional financial institutions.

Currently, all Alliance members can deposit cryptocurrencies on the MEXC platform with zero service fees and fast delivery speeds. BTC, ETH, USDT, CRV, and some other assets are supported.

Deposit methods:

  • Crypto deposits (BTC, ETH, USDT, etc.)
  • Visa/Mastercard purchases (via partners)
  • P2P market (USD, EUR, local currencies in supported regions)

Withdrawals:

  • Crypto only
  • Fee depends on asset (BTC: 0.0005 BTC, min. 0.001 BTC)
  • KYC level affects limits

Trading on MEXC

Spot trading

  • Fee: 0.2% → reduced to 0.08% with MX token.
  • Order types: limit, market, trigger.

Trading on MEXC is available in the “Exchange” menu, where you can choose between the basic or advanced terminal. The latter contains more professional tools, including margin trading.

There are three main types of orders available on the exchange: limit, market, and trigger.

The first means that you specify the price and amount of currency to be bought/sold, after which the order will be placed in a general list, where it will wait until a counterparty appears at the same price.

A trigger order is used to schedule the creation of a limit order when a certain asset price is reached.

A market order (referred to here as Marktordnung) allows you to specify only the quantity, and the purchase price is automatically set by the market. There is no need to wait; the order is executed immediately.

Futures

  • Up to 125x leverage.
  • Perpetual contracts in USDT and coin-margined.
  • Demo account available.

Access to the contract trading section is available exclusively to verified users.

MEXC perpetual contracts include USDT margin contracts and cryptocurrency margin contracts. Users can choose different trading pairs to trade according to their needs. Before starting futures trading, traders must transfer assets from their spot account to their futures account.

When placing an order, you need to enter the quantity, price, and select the leverage (up to 20x). Then click Buy (Long) or Sell (Short).

Leveraged ETFs

  • 3L/3S for BTC, ETH, and more.
  • No expiry.
  • No liquidation risk.

Leveraged ETFs are very popular financial derivatives on the traditional market. They are products that track the performance of underlying assets (e.g., BTC) with a specific multiplier (e.g., 3). Let’s say BTC rose by 1%, then the net value of the corresponding 3x ETF product would rise by 3%. The same applies to price declines.

An ETF is a product with no settlement date. Theoretically, its value will not approach zero, so there are no liquidation risks. Investors can buy/sell it on the secondary market at any time without the need for margin. The cost of a leveraged ETF product is calculated in USDT.

The trading process itself is similar to regular spot trading, except that it is not the underlying asset, but its expression in the form of an ETF with leverage. With this tool, a trader can get a return that is many times higher than when trading the underlying asset.

MEXC supports 3x Long (3L) and 3x Short (3S) leverage.

P2P trading

  • Buy/sell BTC, USDT, ETH, USDC.
  • Only verified bank cards.
  • Requires basic KYC.

A marketplace similar to Binance p2p and other peer-to-peer exchanges. It allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrency for fiat, settling accounts with other users directly.

Go to the “Buy Cryptocurrency” -> “P2P Markets” menu section.

At the top of the page, select the cryptocurrency you want to buy/sell and the fiat currency you want to use as a payment method.

Browse the available offers and select the one that suits you best. To trade in this way, you must pass at least one KYC level. It is also important to keep in mind that you must use only your own personal bank card to pay or receive funds, otherwise your account may be blocked.

Copy trading & bots

  • Follow top traders.
  • Automated strategies.

DeFi and Launchpad

MEXC expands into Web3:

  • DeFi staking: up to 12% APY
  • Launchpool: farming new tokens
  • Launchpad: early token sales
  • Examples: GameFi and DeFi tokens with 3–5x growth post-listing

On MEXC, you can earn passive income using decentralized finance tools. DeFi staking, liquidity mining, and farming new tokens through Launchpool are supported.

Users can choose any tool that suits them to earn income based on parameters such as expected annual income, minimum lock-up time, and staking restrictions. Some offers are also time-limited.

MX Token

The MEXC exchange token is called MX and allows users to receive discounts on commissions of up to 20%, an increased referral percentage, and participate in voting on the development of the project. The token has unlimited issuance.

You can activate commission payments using MX in the “My Assets” section.

User Reviews (USA, 2025)

Sometimes users encounter problems with withdrawing funds or non-payment of promotional offers. Many disapprove of the technical support service. There are also positive reviews, with some traders having used the platform for a year or more and not complaining about any shortcomings.

  1. Michael Anderson, New York (2025-07-12): “Great selection of altcoins. Fees are lower when paying with MX token.”
  2. Sophia Martinez, Los Angeles (2025-06-28): “P2P works fine, but KYC was needed for higher limits.”
  3. David Johnson, Chicago (2025-06-10): “Demo futures account is helpful for practice.”
  4. Emily Carter, Miami (2025-05-23): “Withdrawals in USDT sometimes take longer, but funds always arrive.”
  5. James Lee, Seattle (2025-04-30): “Mobile app is smooth and reliable.”
  6. Olivia Brown, Boston (2025-04-12): “Lack of US regulation is a drawback, but trading is unrestricted via VPN.”
  7. Daniel Wilson, Houston (2025-03-18): “MX Launchpad gave me access to early projects with high returns.”
  8. Ava Thompson, San Francisco (2025-02-27): “Customer support is slow, but overall good experience.”

Conclusion

MEXC Global offers wide asset coverage, high leverage, and flexible KYC. It lags behind Binance and Bybit in interface quality and support speed but outperforms in altcoin listings and trading options.

The MEXC exchange does not require users to undergo verification, but it also provides little official information about itself. There are some shortcomings in the interface and translation. Otherwise, it is a fully functional platform with huge trading volumes and a wide range of financial solutions. It is extremely popular in Asia (China, Vietnam) and, apparently, is focused specifically on these markets. In terms of the number of features, there are no complaints — it offers virtually all modern tools for managing crypto assets, which allows MEXC to keep up with other major exchanges.
